Making Mother’s Day!

With this very special day only one more sleep away, I am totally organised and happy with my efforts of this past week. My beautiful and “talented” students left on Friday afternoon with yet another fabulous SU inspired card and gift for their “mummies”.

I have to send out a huge hug and Thank you to my “fab” teacher aide, Nadia (who is totally SU hooked) and also to a couple of the mums from school (waving at Jai and Claire) for helping the kids with their creations. The ‘filstrip’ section was perforated so the Mums could tear it off for a bookmark to keep. Of course, the children wrote inside with their “best handwriting” and added the mandatory XXXOOO’s.  I did stop short at adding ‘bling’!         25 Year oners and a container of  ‘dazzling diamonds’…wasn’t  going there, girlfriend! LOL!

Also Thanks to Jayne Mercer who I CASED. Jayne made a similar card a few years ago for her son’s class but for Father’s Day. So I hope you like the variation Jayne!

We also made a treat box which the kids folded easily. They loved the punched out flowers and the pretty split pin we used to attach them.

I hope their Mummies are impressed!
