Perfectly Pink!

I must be going through a bit of a PINK phase- as I have just realised that I’m wearing a lot of pink lately and using it on some of my projects. That could have something to do with the gorgeous colours in the DS papers and the new IN colour- Pink Pirouette. Perhaps I’m just compensating for all the male hormones that are present in my house!

Anyhow, I have just covered a notebook to keep all my “important stuff” in and also made a thank you card to the very kind Cheryl O’Bree from Victoria. You see, my camera battery “died” on the last afternoon of conventions and Cheryl (whom I’d never met before) offered to “pop” some photos of the display boards we were viewing onto a disc and send up to me!!  She kept her promise as I received an e-mail then a CD package in the mail last week FULL of wonderful snaps. How fab is Cheryl.

Hope you like what I’ve made! I CASED it from a U.S. Stampin’ Up publication a little while ago. P5240003

I used the Pocket Silhouettes Stamp set, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose inks, Kiwi Kiss & Pink Pirouette cardstocks and finished with 5/8″ Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in PP. I also punch the Kiwi Kiss C/S with the Spiral punch!

Yum! I really like the Raspberry Tart DSP which I used to jazz up my boring notebook. It was while doing this that I got the idea for Madonna’s birthday gift. I can show you it now as she received it today!

Hope you haven’t been blown away over the last week.

  2. No! we’re still here Alana! We were pretty protected on our side of the hill. Was pretty exciting though then with the high school being closed on Thursday WHEN I WAS ROSTERED ON FOR CANTEEN…see, the universe has been kind to me over the last few weeks.
